Today is perfect for a nice long walk. Of course I forgot my headphones so I was the crazy mom walking with baby, singing out loud along with my iphone.
I just had it in shuffle, and indigo girls, ghost, came on. It gave me a nostalgia bomb. That song is from my all time favorite open windows, sunny day, sing along albums. Memories of first loves, road trips, youth, and friends that are no longer close washed over me. Funny how one song can make you feel so many feelings.
I sang out loud, not caring if anyone saw, and enjoyed the rest of my walk reminiscing.
