Just about a year ago (I don’t remember the exact date), I took a pregnancy test. It was still a day or so before I was supposed to start my period so I really wasn’t thinking it was going to show anything, plus I had taken so many over the previous months that had been negative I knew not to get my hopes up. But this test, this test was different. The line was faint, but it was there. I googled my little heart out and took a few more tests just to make sure a faint line was just as good as a stronger solid line. It was. I think Phil was a bit in shock when I told him, happy, but not sure how to react. I was also thrilled, but cautious. We both knew there was a chance it wouldn’t stick. But it did, and now we have a 3 and a half month old child. We are parents, which still blows my mind. This teddy bear hoodie was one of the first thing I ordered for Oliver, back before Oliver was even nicknamed Skipper. From the first time we started even thinking about having kids, whenever we would see a baby that had a hat or hood with bear ears we would both ooh and aah over the “teddy bear baby” (as we would call them, and still do). I knew that even if it was a girl, we would have to have some “teddy bear baby” attire. So excited it finally fits him. Our little teddy bear baby.
