I love the snow, but sadly when I took Ollie out earlier the snow hitting his face was freaking him out, and the stroller was not an option. So other than a few minutes out in the backyard with him to snap some photos, I was inside all day. 

As soon as we were done eating dinner tonight I left Phil with the baby bedtime ritual (which he usually does anyway), and headed out for a walk. It was gorgeous, and quiet, and icy, and freezing! Careful if you have to walk or drive anywhere! 

I am really not great at taking night photos, but I had fun out there. As much as I love my child, being cooped up in the house alone with him all day can be exhausting. And yes, we do need to take our christmas lights down, but for now I am glad they were up. 

I am so thankful this evening, for all the obvious things yes, but also for a warm place to sleep tonight. A car that handles well in the snow. Another day off of work tomorrow to spend with Oliver. All of the people that are also lazy and haven’t taken their lights down, they all made my walk just that much more beautiful.
