Rainbow Connection // Muppets: The Green Album (Weezer feat. Hayley Williams)
We bought this album on Saturday and it was the soundtrack of the weekend!
Today my “aunt” threw me a baby shower with all my girlfriends. Everything was perfect, the weather, the flowers on the tables, the group of girls that came, the food, the lemonade. Everything.

Important book from my sister. (Go The Fuck To Sleep)

We are going with a space theme for Skippers room, and some of our best friends got us this baby astronaut costume. We both love it, but I have a hunch Phil loves it slightly more than I do.

After some tasty snacks, a little activity of everyone writing me some parenting advice, and gift opening, it was time for lunch. Salmon sliders, sweet corn salad with red onion and some fresh basil, beet and orange salad (SO good).
I forgot to grab a photo of the desserts but there were mini coconut cupcakes and mexican chocolate cookies, both were amazing!

Party favors for guests to take home: mini canning jars filled with tiny hand print cookies, all ready to add a votive candle when the cookies are gone!

I am fully in love with the crib set we picked out. I know we can’t really use the comforter in the crib, but I sure will have it on display as much as possible.

Phil is trying out the new stroller, I love the colors and Phil loves that it’s easy to use and he can run with it.
We also got about a thousand adorable outfits, which I can’t wait to show off once there is a baby to put them on.
I was overwhelmed by the amount of love that was shown to me, Phil and Skipper today. We have such a wonderful group of friends!
(I would like to personally thank Bridget for cutting her weekend trip short to be able to make it to the shower today, it really does mean a lot that you were there!)
The little one just flipped around to kiss my belly. Heart is officially melted.
One of my staff and a 10 year old girl were just chatting on the playground:
10 yo: My mom keeps trying to get me to dress like someone else.
Staff: What do you mean? Like does she want you to dress more unique?
10 yo: Yeah I guess.
Staff: Well, how do you feel about that, what do you want?
10 yo: I just want to watch TV.
