My friend that came for dinner brought me treats!
Bacon and cheddar scones AND chocolate chip scones!
They are amazing……oh well for trying to have a healthy dinner tonight.

Pig and Whistle
I had a lovely dinner tonight with my best girls at the Pig and Whistle.
I got the side salad which surprisingly had apple, raspberries and blueberries on it. I got the side mac and cheese too, which was wonderful.
It was a great evening!

On the menu tonight:
Roasted brussel sprouts and yams, with salt, pepper and a little nutmeg.
Roasted salmon with a Tom Douglas Seafood rub.
Brown rice too, but that’s not very exciting to look at.
I just realized it's 6:45 pm.
I thought for sure it was at least 9.
I guess that’s what happens when you spend the day in the basement cleaning and unpacking.
