The blond children, and toy vehicles at our house seem to be multiplying!
This may very well be the last super hot day of summer, and with Oliver starting preschool next week, bedtimes will need to be reigned in. But tonight we let him stay up late to help us make peach crisp, and take a special trip to the grocery store for coconut ice cream to go on top. He told me on the way home from the store that it was “a fun night, cause we are havin a cobbler party” (and that it was a fun night because fairies come out at night, not sure where he got that). When we took the crisp/cobbler (we use them interchangeably, although I am sure we shouldn’t be) out of the oven he just kept saying “I am so excited to taste it” (hence the excited face in the second picture.
I ate an entire garden fresh tomato for dinner, with a gin and tonic, and that crisp. Summer is going out with a bang around here. For everyone!
Impossible to get a photo of them both looking at the camera. Even with Phil dancing behind me, one of them is always actively avoiding the camera.
Phil got home this afternoon so we went to Discovery Park after nap. The light on the playground was perfect to play around with my camera, and it didn’t hurt that the boys were looking super adorable today. I mean, brother synchronized downward dog!??! They are the best!
Special playtime with Aunt Kate yesterday. She wasn’t too into them as tiny babies, but now that they can play and laugh at her, she is excelling as an aunt!
